Katrina Stamatopoulos is an artist and photographer dedicated to questioning conventional ideas of image making and image consuming.

Her approach is driven by process, craft, and a commitment to image making that oscillates between abstraction and documentation. Her work pushes the boundaries of how objects are seen and visualised, and she predominantly works with analogue process. She photographs on film (small, medium and large formats), practices experimental darkroom printing, hand colouring, and works with digital scanners to capture surface details.
