Katrina Stamatopoulos from Equivalentbehaviour, is a photographer dedicated to challenging conventional ideas of representation.
Her approach is driven by process, craft, and a commitment to image making that oscillates between abstraction and documentation. Her work pushes the boundaries of how objects are seen and visualised through images, and she works predominantly with analogue processes. Katrina specialises in small, medium, and large format photography, film developing, hand-printing in colour and black & white, as well as experimental darkroom techniques including solarisation, cameraless photography, and hand-colouring.
